With the power of God at their disposal, players take on the role of War - one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse - in his quest for revenge.
The horsemen War may have the ability to bring annihilation to the face of the Earth, but only when the time is right. When his three fellow horsemen are accused of destroying Earth without warning, War finds forced to fight the forces of both heaven and hell and discover who has betrayed him. As War slowly regains his abilities, players will be able to unleash devastating attacks. Traditional weaponry can also be collected, from modern firearms to lampposts and cars. This combat all takes place in the ruins of Earth, with its crumbling cities littering the demon infested streets.
As players work their way through each wave of villains, War’s abilities can be upgraded and new moves unlocked. These moves can be tweaked and customised, allowing players to focus on the abilities that suit them best. Using RUIN, War’s trusty steed, players can roam through each area at will, leaving a blazing trail of fire behind them as they do.
