Difficult to see how this could have been better

The cliche; 'based on a true story' was never truer than this. After years of scifi this is based on the real thing, and it shows. Star Trek may be realistic for 400 years time but today we're in the equivalent of a model T Ford. The film pulls no punches in this enthralling drama of ups and downs, warts and all of just how stressful this business is with very little glamour. Close to perfect.
