With a cast of manga-inspired characters and over-the-top locations, Battle Fantastia brings the coin-up fighter back to consoles.

Steering clear of the more realistic fighters hitting consoles, Battle Fantasia takes another route, with characters inspired by fantasy and an over-the-top plot that’s made no sacrifices to its Japanese routes. Battle Fantasia makes few compromises moving the fighter from its home in Japanese arcades to UK shores, with the same modes and characters all included. Taking another step away from the traditional fighter, Battle Fantasia takes a few key gameplay elements from Japanese role playing titles. As a player’s life is drained, hit points are removed from their character. This balances the field for newcomers, as players with less health will be faster and therefore harder to attack.

A number of different modes have been included in this release, from story and survival modes to multiplayer battles. online multiplayer has also been included. As players progress through the story mode, new costumes and accessories can be unlocked.

Battle Fantasia is a fighter with personality. Its unique role play fighting and exaggerated Japanese roots help it stand out.
