Robert Downey is perfect in this biopic of the legendary clown

Downey Jr. has the great man's mannerisms off pat in this marvellous story. Famous names from that era are also well played. There's John Thaw as Fred Karno the impresario and manager and many more. This tells the story from cradle to grave with Downey covering the most part with the help of the makeup geniuses.
