A joint project between Great Britain and France, the Concorde was the world's first supersonic aircraft, taking to the sky at twice the speed of sound. This collection of documentaries from the Seventies recounts all development stages behind the Concorde’s ambitious adventure. The first short film, CONCORDE 24 HOUR WORLD, was shot in 1972 during its first testing tour and documents the early pre-service days of the legendary aircraft. The other two titles included, CONCORDE and DAY OF THE CONCORDE, are respectively a celebration of the first year of service of the aircraft and an account of a typical “Concorde experience”.
