All six episodes from Series Two

COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS - Trusting an absent-minded geriatric Major with money, and tangling with the intermittently deaf Mrs Richards leads Basil ever closer to a nervous breakdown.

THE PSYCHIATRIST - A young ‘yobbo’ has booked in – and to Basil’s intense fury – Sybil obviously fancies him and he may have smuggled a girl into his room. A psychiatrist arrives to ad to his discomfort. “There’s enough material here for an entire conference” he muses as he observes the baffling phenomenon known as Basil Fawlty.

WALDORF SALAD - An American guest demands the quality of service not normally associated with the ‘Torquay Riviera’. A Waldorf salad is not part of Fawlty Towers’ standard culinary repertoire and to Basil Fawlty a Screwdriver is something you find in a toolbox.

THE KIPPER AND THE CORPSE - One of the guests, with total disregard for Basil’s blood pressure, dies in his bed. Doubtless it was the kippers, which should have been thrown out ages ago that killed him, Basil has to conceal the body and the very fishy breakfast.

THE ANNIVERSARY - Sybil flounces off to the golf course when Basil has apparently forgotten their 15th wedding anniversary, and just misses the guests arriving for her surprise party. Mayhem, lies and madness ensue.

BASIL THE RAT - Manuel insists that his pet rodent is a Siberian hamster. Basil is convinced it’s a rat. Definitely not the right kind of pet when the health inspector is on the loose.
