Hugh Grant—in a career defining performance—stars as a young man, whose efforts to remain single are legendary amongst his friends, suddenly finds himself in love with an American woman who has recently attended the season's weddings. FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL is considered to be the blueprint for all subsequent Working Title romcoms (that would include NOTTING HILL and LOVE ACTUALLY) and has since become a perennial feel-good favourite.

Customer Reviews

Enjoyable, but a bit overrated.

Not being a dyed in the wool Hugh Grant fan I may be biased. His films are well made and acted but I find his non-stop busy style irritating. Most of you will probably disagree.
