Another David Lean masterpiece

It may be sacrilege to fans of the writer but why read Dickens when you've got films like this. One of my favourites. A fascinating and dramatic telling of a blacksmith's apprentice who suddenly gets thrust into wealthy society. As the pompous lawyer says; "Mr Pip has great expectations", how true.
