This fascinating documentary offers a look at the life of legendary performer Hank Williams. Stricken with drugs and drink, Williams died at age 29 after transforming the country genre beyond all recognition. Although he didn't leave behind much material (an estimated 88 songs were recorded in his lifetime), it seemed like everything Hank touched turned to musical gold, including such classic tracks as 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry,' 'Your Cheatin' Heart,' 'Cold, Cold Heart,' and many others. Drawing on rare interview material, performances, and photographs, Honky Tonk Blues offers a moving portrait of the man.
