Marc Levitz's crime documentary chronicles the experiences of a man whose life was shattered by the vicious crimes of a notorious serial killer. On 15 January 1974, 15-year-old Charlie Otero came home from school to find his parents and two of his younger siblings murdered. It later transpired that the Oteros were the first victims of the serial killer who called himself 'BTK' (Bind/Torture/Kill). This film documents Charlie's horrific experience and his subsequent struggle to rebuild his life.
