Review
With an array of electricity-based super powers at their disposal, players can roam the open world of Empire City either to protect or destroy its citizens.
Open world titles such as Grand Theft Auto may give players a fully-realised city to explore, but its characters are still grounded in reality. In a similar vein to Xbox 360 title Crackdown, inFamous throws reality out of the window, giving players a huge variety of superhuman powers to utilize as they survey Empire City from top to bottom. Playing as urban explorer Cole, players can use their new abilities to protect or abuse the city and its citizens. Each decision the player makes will have an impact on their surroundings, ultimately deciding whether Empire City will be saved or destroyed.
With such powerful talents at a player’s disposal, the typical limits of free-roaming games have been removed, letting players scale tall buildings or create mass destruction at will. During combat, Cole can use his electricity moves in a variety of creative ways, even sending jolts of lighting from his hands to fling enemies through the air.
By removing the typical constrictions of open world titles, inFamous lets players enjoy the scope of Empire City without limit.

Superb game
When I start playing I didn't want to play much, but after 30 minutes of play I couldn't stop playing. Good game, good story, good price. This game is good entrance for Infamous 2. If you don't have ths game, buy it.
My favorite new Sony IP
I didn't expect much from inFamous. I bought the game just because demo seemed kinda cool. But boy was I in for a surprise. inFamous is easily in my top 3 of 2009 games (with Uncharted 2 and AC2). Even tough Cole is not a really memorable character, the game offers a great pace for the story (and an amazing ending) making you want more. The Hero/Villain approach give the game great replay value. If you get hooked on inFamous and it's Empire City expect some sleepless nights...
Stuff I liked:
The powers, Story, Ending, Empire city, Destruction
Stuff I disliked:
Cole runs funny...
BOTTOM LINE: Don't miss this one!
