Too good to be true

I remember seeing the odd one or two of these episodes on one of the new channels about 4 or 5 years ago now, obviously a repeat as they were many many years previous to this. The one thing that stuck in my mind was the excellent theme song. I saw good write-ups of the series and had it at a very good price so I went for it. I have never watched a series like this night after night, but this one is so good, especially compared to what they put on TV nowadays, one is completely drawn into it. The high quality of the image and sound actually leaves some of todays programs well behind, and my Toshiba TV produces a picture that is so good the actors virtually jump out of the screen in 3D. I would class this as the best box set I have purchased to-date, and feel sorry that the main actor did not go on to many other projects.
