Based on: The novel by Stephen King Story: A double bill of Stephen King horror. In 'Pet Sematary' a family move to a new home in Maine, situated next to a pet cemetery and Indian burial ground, which is rumoured to bring the dead back to life. When his son is killed by a passing truck, the father tests out the rumour, and does get his son back - but resurrection seems to have uncovered a new malicious side to the boy's character. In the sequel, 'Pet Sematary 2', Jeff Matthew's (Edward Furlong) mother is killed in a freak accident and he and his father (Anthony Edwards) move away to Maine. Life is difficult for Jeff as he is lonely and has only one friend, Drew. Things go from bad to worse when Drew's step-father kills the family dog, and the boys bury the pet at the local cemetary. Not the wisest of moves...
