Ghosts of the Abyss Review

Made exclusively for presentation in the larger than life Imax 3D format "Ghosts of the Abyss" sees the Academy Award wining director of "Titanic" James Cameron team up once again with his friend and frequent on screen collaborator Bill ("Terminator," "Aliens," "Titanic") Paxton as they set out to explore the fwreck of the genuine Titanic. On board the world's largest scientific ship and armed with the latest cutting edge underwater technology (including two specially designed 'bots') they set off on an unscripted journey to he final resting place of 1,500 of the ships passengers and crew. Once there they explore virtually the entire ship from top to bottom, coming across amazing images and artefacts that have remained hidden for over 90 years.

Quite simply, the more that Cameron discovers the more intriguing this legendary wreck becomes, and the all encompassing view offered in an IMAX cinema will leave you with a sense of awe at the sheer scale and faded opulence of ship itself. Couple this with the spectacular 3D technology used to further enhance the experience and you're left with a fascinating cinematic experience you wont soon forget.
