The Incredible String Band's sixth album was released during the era when putting out two records a year was commonplace. CHANGING HORSES (1969) found the ensemble exhilarated by the speed at which they were evolving. Though founders RobinWilliamson and Mike Heron were still doing all the writing,they were now recording and performing as a quartet with the addition of their girlfriends Rose Simpson and Licorice McKenzie.
