Epic film with all the right cast

Unfortunately I find the film overlong. Take an hour off it and it could have been five stars but unlike Ben Hur which knows just when to move on this stays with a scene until you find yourself reaching for the fast search button. It's not that you don't want to see the conclusion it just that you want to get there quicker than the director.
