I didn't purchase the WN822N from Base but just spotted it whilst browsing the site and having had this wireless adapter for a few months now felt it only right to give a quicky review on the product.

The wireless adapter is extremely easy to setup, just plug into a spare USB slot on your pc or laptop, install the drivers using the included driver cd and follow the usual instructions to connect to your home network. This little beauty is so powerful it picked up half my street's network connections ! I have the full 300mbps and 98% signal strength with this making my internet connection lightning fast and that's pretty impressive considering I use it up in the back bedroom of the house and the router is on the floor behind the TV in the lounge downstairs. My only gripe is the green flashing led on the unit and it's only a gripe because it's in my bedroom. I've taped over it to stop the green strobe effect at night, other than that, this is a cracking piece of kit for the money and very stable, it hasnt dropped it's connection once in the 3 months I've owned it. Buy one you won't regret it !

PS I'm using it on Microsoft Windows 7 x64 bit ;-)
