British comedy in which a man who is hopeless with the opposite sex is taken under the wing of a serial womaniser. James (Simon Phillips) is so inept with women he barely even attempts to speak to them any more. However, when his friend, Ian (Richard E. Grant), commits suicide and leaves a message demanding that James find a girl and get his life on track, James finds himself forced to reconsider. He gets in touch with motivational speaker and pick-up artist Ampersand (Craig Conway), who puts him in training. But soon James begins to wonder if Ampersand is all he seems.
