The focus shifts from the dark overlord to his faithful companions in this puzzle-based adventure from Codemasters.

The console renditions of the Overlord series are best known for letting players control their own band of loyal minions who will do their bidding on command. In Overlord – Minions, rather than playing as the overlord himself, players join an elite minion crew as they work to solve a series of puzzles and act on the minion master’s every whim. Overlord – Minions is controlled primarily using the Nintendo DS stylus and touch screen to quickly issue commands and solve puzzles on the move.

Much like their console counterparts, the minions themselves are a humorous and cheeky bunch who will crack jokes and deliver some large helpings of physical comedy as they work through each stage. The light-hearted humour and colourful style of the Overlord series remains intact, even if the gameplay has been altered.

Rather than attempt to squeeze the gameplay of console Overlord’s into Nintendo’s handheld, Overlord – Minions gives players a more unique, puzzle-focused title with the same sense of mischievous humour.
