Sequel to the 2004 title Shellshock - Nam ’67, players can experience the Vietnam conflict from a fearful and realistic perspective.

The original Shellshock had the looks of a traditional first-person shooter, but focused on the emotional and mental toll the soldiers involved in this conflict experienced. Blood Trails takes much the same direction, this time allowing players to experience Vietnam from a fresh perspective. When a special ops plane goes missing over uncharted jungle, soldiers are quickly sent to the suspected crash site to find the plane and the top secret shipment it was carrying. As months pass by without word, only one solider is left alive, damaged mentally and physically by his ordeal.

Fear of the unknown and the damage it causes to veterans is the core theme of Blood Trails, with dark and dank environments showing the aftermath of America’s conflict. Delusions plague the player, and as the aftermath of the war becomes clear, fleeing the conflict for good becomes the only option.

Shellshock 2 – Blood Trails combines traditional first-person shooting with a chilling storyline pushed forward by the mental anguish these soldiers were once put through.
