To celebrate a decade of Big Cat Diary action, we revisit the cast and characters, offering a unique opportunity to watch their unfolding lives over a two-year span. From a camp in the heart of Kenya's magnificent Masi Mara, specialist teams observe the daily lives and adventures of Africa's big cats.

Series 1: The Marsh Pride of lions is 30 strong - a magnificent group of females, sub-adults and cubs. But there's a problem, their sole defender is lone male Simba. When two young males move in on pride territory and chase him away, chaos will surely follow. Right in the firing line is Bibi, a young lioness with two tiny cubs. If the invading males find the little family, the cubs will be killed. It's all down to Simba to try and re-take the territory and secure the bloodline.

Kike the cheetah is a working single mum with three hungry mouths to feed. She works hard for their well-being and will try anything in her hurry to hunt - even using Jonathan Scott's car as a handy lookout. The real problem is that she's never successfully raised a litter of cubs before, every single one has been lost to other predators - maybe, just maybe, this time they'll make it.

Bella the leopard is the queen of stealth. Like Kike she needs to hunt regularly to feed her litter of two small cubs, but this is a much bigger, bolder animal than the slender cheetah. When the wildebeest migration arrives, she ambushes the herds as they cross the river - it's no wonder she gains the nickname 'gentle assassin.'

Series 2:
Cheza and Sala are the oddest couple of lion pals you ever saw. Cheza is nearly double the size of tiny Sala and leads the smaller cub into all sorts of trouble. When that involves a huge herd of angry buffalo, things look very bleak indeed for little Sala.

Kike the cheetah has successfully raised her three cubs and they're out on their own. But the Mara is a challenging place for cheetahs going solo for the first time. Will the intrepid trio manage to stay clear of the army of hyenas, lions and vultures that are out to cause them maximum grief?

Bella the leopard is still going strong in the company of one of her cubs - Chui. Like Kike's cubs, he's ready to go solo, but is much keener to stay with mum. His encounters with crocodiles and buffaloes show that he still has a lot to learn before he becomes an independent leopard.

This double DVD also includes 2 additional half-hour special documentaries - 'Bella and her Cubs' and 'Cheza and Sala'.
