Newspaper editor Nick Condon (James Cagney) is based in Tokyo, and puts his life and those of others at risk when he runs a story revealing Japan's plans to conquer China. He's just as entertaining as a good guy in this political thriller. As a resourceful reporter digging for the truth this movie is slower paced than some of his offerings but still very watchable.
