The tragic story of sculptor Rodin and his muse, Camille Claudel. Camille becomes Rodin's apprentice and despite their difference in ages and much opposition, they fall in love. Their stormy love affair lasts for fifteen years. Despite attempts to break free from his influence and make a name for herself in a male-dominated world, her ultimate escape is madness. Bruno Nuyttens debut feature. French dialogue with English subtitles.
