Heritage Railways Volume 1 Introduced by Heritage Railway Magazine assistant editor Brian Sharpe, the 2004 volume edition of the Heritage Railway Annual video is presented from the Great Central Railway at Loughborough. The brand new signalling is seen at Quorn and Woodhouse as well as a look at aging former Great Western Railway 4-4-0 locomotives, number 9017 Earl of Berkeley and number 3440 City of Truro. Number 9017 is seen in action at its home base, The Bluebell.

Heritage Railways Volume 2 Following on from “Heritage Railways Volume One”, this edition of the Heritage Railway Annual video is presented from the Great Central Railway at Loughborough. Number 70013 Oliver Cromwell is captured before entering the workshop for restoration to running condition as well as mainline activity from the Settle Carlisle route is also covered and begins with the double heading of BR Standard 4MT number 76079 and Battle of Britain Class Pacific number 34067 Tangmere.

Heritage Railways Volume 3 Introduced by Heritage Railway Magazine assistant editor Brian Sharpe, the 2005 programme is presented from the North Norfolk Railway. The East Anglian costal line has seen much development in recent times, including the construction of new Locomotive, Coach and Wagon facilities at Weybourne. You can also see Steam Galas at both the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and the South Devon Railway. The Worth Valley Railway’s Winter Gala featured the home-based fleet which were tested on the gradients of the West Yorkshire line, whilst the South Devon Railway welcomed a visit by the Llangollen Railway’s resident Manor, number 7822 Foxcote Manor.

Heritage Railways Volume 4 Following on from “Heritage Railways Volume Three” this programme is presented from the North Norfolk Railway. The East Anglian costal line has seen much development in recent times, including the Holt terminus station which has seen great strides made in its development. The concluding feature takes place in spectacular North Yorkshire Moors “Gresley 100” celebrations which spanned three consecutive weekends, and included number 60800 Green Arrow, B1 number 61264 and a whole host of teak panelled coaching stock.
