Nica (Fiona Dourif) is grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mother’s affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica’s plans for the future, Barb’s young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesn’t know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He’s determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he’s going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end.

Product Reviews

Great fun!

I was quite surprised to think that a new Chucky would be on the horizon, nearly a decade after the last entry. However, here we are with the murderous doll terrorizing a small family is a massive house likened to the Bates’ family abode.

The film is great fun, with the similar humour to the films of before and the same kind of murderous acts and energy that will remind fans why he’s such an infamous character to the horror world. Fright fans should love it!

A true horror icon returns!

Don Mancini is back with Chucky. 25 years after the original Child's Play tormented audiences, the creator returns to write and direct Curse of Chucky.

It's funny, it's dark and it's surprisingly tense with a gothic set piece that all added to the suspense of this remarkable return.

It really is a horror film you can fall in love with again and again as the small touches and nuances added in my Mancini and the terrific cast make for an entertaining thrill ride.

You'll laugh, you'll wince and you'll cower from the screen in fear...

Curse of Chucky takes Fiona Dourif and turns her into a star, a talent that should never be far from the screen. She's remarkable and entertaining in the role of Nica.

An exceptional film
