An epic adventure that takes place across two eras of Japanese history OTOGI ZOSHI is an anime series that takes the viewer from feudal Japan to the modern day while exploring the experiences of two girls named Hikaru. VOLUME FOUR MODERN HISTORY collects episodes 14-18 of the anime program the first episodes that occur in the contemporary setting. Hikaru is a teenager who unexpectedly inherits an apartment complex in the absence of her brother Raiko. She meets the inhabitants of the building including writer Tsuna psychic Urabe and Sadamitsu a friendly but sinister businessman. With her new friends willing to help Hikaru sets out to discover what has happened to her missing sibling.
