Product Reviews

Great action hack n slash game, its a diamond in the rough.

Senran Kagura EV is a great game, I really like the cel shaded graphics as well as the clothes rip feature, the mechanics take a hour or so to get a hang of, especially the parry mechanic.around 30 or so characters (including DLC characters available in EU PSN store).

The STORY is a bit out there, where these female 'shinobi' get sent to a island in the middle of nowhere to participate in this millenium festival where shinobi get brought back from the after life for 8 days of this festival. The purpose or end result of this story mode never seem to go anywhere like a big climatic fight cutscene, but the last cutscene is emotional as welled up abit near the end.

The MECHANICS in the game like parry are a bit slow and tricky to time however which is my biggest gripe so breaks your flow when hacking and slashing your grunt enemies, but nothing to rate low over.

The OUTFITS have some variety in the base game, but more variety is given when you purchase the optional DLC content i.e the clothes and characters, Just think a nice feature would be to change the characters eye colour as well as the hue of the color of the clothes and allow us to personally choose are own color schemes. Again its a nitpick on my part.

Great game overall, just a shame a few characters were left out of the EU/US version of the game and other features can be polished or added to the game as mentioned above. I would definitely recommend it at the sub £20 mark, its a steal.
