Scottish indie rockers The Twilight Sad's 'The Twilight Sad Killed My Parents And Hit The Road' is a compilation of live tracks, covers and other miscellany, originally released in the hope that it would raise enough money to take the band on tour with fellow Scottish legends Mogwai. The cover versions include songs by Joy Division ('Twenty Four Hours'), The Yeah Yeah Yeahs ('Modern Romance') and The Smiths ('Half A Person'), and provide an insight into the band's influences. The live tracks, too, show an interesting dynamic of the band and captures them at their most visceral.
