Following on from the gun-toting summer blockbuster, Wanted – Weapons of Fate puts players in the thick of third-person action shootouts.

The hit film Wanted provided filmgoers with some of the most kinetic and creative action sequences seen on screen, and with Wanted – Weapons of fate Warner Bros. has attempted to recreate that same stylish atmosphere with a storyline that takes place shortly after the events of the film. Working within a secret fraternity of assassins, players take the role of Wesley Gibson, a top assassin being hunted by a renegade splinter group.

Now a fully-trained assassin, players have all the skills and abilities shown off in the original film. Wesley is able to quickly move between cover, using his Quick-Chain ability to shield himself from enemies while on the move, and Assassin Time allows players to attack multiple enemies with well-timed shots. Wanted’s most famous addition to the action world – the ability to curve bullets mid-air – makes its welcome arrival.

With its slick and stylish take on action, Wanted was always a film that cried out to make its way into gaming. Wanted – Weapons of fate gives players the same impressive abilities alongside solid third-person gameplay.
